Located on the coast between Geneva and Lausanne, the atelier m2 architecture office was founded in 2001 by Ms. Mekhala Oltramare and Ms. Monica Addamo-Gerber, EPFL – IAUG architects.

Our business includes the design and renovation of individual. isolated or grouped housing, the development of public projects, interior architecture, as well as the design of custom furniture.

Our team is currently made up of 7 collaborators, all concerned with working towards the same goals, namely :

• Understand, analyse and project the desires and needs of the client.
• Design a harmonious architecture, whose aesthetics and functionality combine according to the specificities of its users.
• Respect the territorial heritage, by integrating the best possible project into its environment.
• Explore modern building materials and techniques.
• Maintain particular attention to the rules of sustainable development, new energies and materials.
• Plan the project accurately and perform a reliable and transparent financial evaluation.
• Monitor the technical and financial management of projects rigorously and consistently.

Our workshop attaches as much importance to the interior atmospheres as to the exterior spaces, and to their respective relationships with the surrounding territory.
